Duncan Taylor
(Partner)

Duncan has 20 years experience in private capital (primarily in infrastructure and private equity) and the funds management industry in Australia and internationally. Previously Duncan held senior roles including: Lend Lease – Head of Infrastructure Funds and Mandates, Merrill Lynch (UK) – Managing Director Infrastructure Investments, Colonial First State (Aus & UK) – Senior Investment Director, McConnell Dowell – Investment Manager and Hambro-Grantham – Investment Director.

Duncan was responsible for leading, designing and executing infrastructure fund and global fund raising strategies for Australian and international managers. He has originated and managed transactions across the various asset classes and stages, including transport, utilities, renewable energy and PPP with origination and board positions on investments such as Anglian Water Group, Perth Airport, Inexus, Gold Coast Rapid Transit and Newham Hospital PFI.  He has also advised superannuation funds and funds managers on how to enter/invest in the infrastructure sector. Duncan has worked in private equity from the investment, advisory and capital raising roles including recent experience in the “fintech” and finance sector. He also gained significant exposure to other asset classes, particularly the property and debt asset classes.

Duncan holds an MBA from the Macquarie School of Graduate Management (MGSM), a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Australian National University (ANU) and qualified as an Australian Chartered Accountant (ACA).
